Scottish rider Stuart Easton will compete for the Swan Honda team at the North West 200 on Saturday 15 May.

Easton was third in last year's British Superbike championship and won the Macau Grand Prix in 2008 and 2009.

The Hawick rider returns to the North West after a three-year absence and has a previous best finish of fourth place in the Supersport race on a Ducati.

Easton, who made his debut at the races back in 2004, will ride in both Superbike races and the Superstock.

"We are delighted to be welcoming Stuart back to the event and he has certainly made his mark at the North West 200 in past years," said Race Director Mervyn Whyte.

Meanwhile Steve Plater, winner of five races in the last two years, will compete in five races this time.

The Lincolnshire rider will compete in both Superbike events, both Supersport races and the Superstock class as he bids to add to his tally.
