Sheffield Tigers have secured the services of crowd favourite Paul Cooper for next season.

The 27-year-old York-born rider has vowed to be fully fit after breaking his ankle and foot in August.

He joins skipper Ricky Ashworth, High Skidmore and Richard Hall as a confirmed starter for the 2010 campaign, which starts in March.

"Sheffield could've easily axed me when I was at my lowest in May, but they showed me a lot of loyalty," he said.
