Isle of Man superbike rider Conor Cummins was narrowly beaten into second place by Stuart Easton at the Macau Motorcycle Grand Prix on Saturday. The two riders were locked in a wheel-to-wheel battle for the majority of the race, with the Scot edging the victory by just two-fifths of a second. Yorkshire rider Ian Hutchinson completed the top three. Cummins said: "I can't complain with second, It was a great race between me and Stuart out there." Easton smashed the lap record as he won the event for the second successive year. Cummins added: "It's been a great meeting for me and the team, big thanks to everyone at Paul Bird Motorsport, it's been a fantastic experience."
