Jesper Kristiansen's 10 points for Stoke were in vain against Scunthorpe

Stoke Potters completed their Premier League campaign with a 59-31 defeat against Scunthorpe Scorpions at the Eddie Wright Raceway on Friday.

Scunthorpe dominated the meeting, Carl Wilkinson and David Howe taking maximums for the home side.

Stoke went through the whole campaign without an away win and just one draw to show for their efforts on the road.

They are currently 11th in the Premier League table, with only Berwick, Glasgow and Newport below them.

Stoke promoter Dave Tattum said: "I'm very disappointed with tonight's performance.

"Jesper, Jason and Lee all fought hard for their points but we were just beaten by a better side on the night."
