Wolverhampton Wolves failed to go top of speedway's Elite League after losing 51-45 at Peterborough on Thursday. Wolves came back from 15 points down with three heats to go to close the margin, which means they collected a league point from the meeting. Freddie Lindgren was Wolves' star man in the meeting as he claimed 15 points. They are now four points behind leaders Swindon, with the top two clubs well clear of Peterborough, who remain in third spot. Meanwhile, Wolves rider Hynek Stichauer is likely to miss the rest of the season because of a back injury.
