Tattum has made big changes to the Stoke Potters line-up in 2009
Stoke Potters have the chance to gain ground at the top of the Premier League with meetings at Scunthorpe on Friday and at home to Glasgow 24 hours later.
Stoke, currently fifth, have matches in hand on all of the teams above them.
Promoter Dave Tattum told BBC Radio Stoke: "We've been a little shy of away meetings and we need to get into the groove for those away meetings.
"At home we've had a really good run, although we'll have to be on top of our game against Edinburgh."
The Potters are unbeaten at Loomer Road in the Premier League, although they are yet to taste victory away from their home track in 2009.
They were due to face Glasgow on 11 July, but the meeting was postponed on the day, a decision which has drawn criticism for the club.
"We followed the weather forecast and it had predicted a horrendous storm," Tattum added.
"The decision was taken early to stop the Glasgow supporters travelling down, and in the end we were proved right because at the time the meeting would have been on, the conditions wouldn't have been good enough to race."
