Burton have won the race to sign midfielder Jacques Maghoma on a two-year contract after an impressive trial with the club.
Maghoma is a product of the Tottenham youth academy and has played trial games recently for Burton and Hereford.
The 21-year-old featured in Saturday's pre-season friendly with Derby County.
Maghoma told BBC Radio Derby: "It wasn't a tough decision. The manager has been great to me, the facilities top class and training excellent too."
The midfielder was born in Lubumbashi in the Democratic Republic of Congo, but holds dual Congolese/British nationality.

Maghoma has spent his whole career with Spurs, working his way up through the youth team to become a regular in the reserves at White Hart Lane.
"I am happy to be here, I can get my head down, work for the club, and push them to do good things," he added.
"The style of football I like to play is get it down and pass it. I'm an attacking midfielder and like to play anywhere along the midfield.
"My most strongest position is the number eight, the attacking midfielder, which is what I prefer."
