Stoke Potters moved into second place in the Premier League after beating Berwick 49-41 at Loomer Road on Sunday. Danish rider Tom P Madsen top-scored for the Potters with 12 points, while Phil Morris returned to form with 11. Stoke left it late to claim maximum points from the meeting, Madsen and Lee Complin seizing the initiative with a one-two finish in heat 14. The Potters have now won their last six meetings and sit three points behind leaders Workington.
