Miskowiak rode for the Witches in 2008

Ipswich Witches have re-signed Robert Miskowiak to replace Leigh Lanham for the remainder of the season.

Manager Chris Louis says Ipswich have to match other Elite League teams who are also strengthening their line-ups.

He said: "It's unfortunate to be saying goodbye to Leigh, he's been struggling to get full fitness and recover from the injuries he's suffered."

Miskowiak was left out of the original Witches team and has been riding in his native Poland.

Danny King has been named captain for the rest of the season.
