Harris won both Production 1000cc and 600cc races at the 2003 TT

Double Isle of Man TT winner Shaun Harris has announced his intention to return to the island in 2010 to compete in the event.

The New Zealander had announced his retirement from the sport in February.

But he told Sure Radio TT: "I will be back racing here next year, I'm 100% about that.

"I will enter one class, I will be here to do a job for Shaun Harris. I've got nothing to prove to anybody, I just want to sign off on this track."

He added: "I've been coming here for a long time and now I honestly feel like I am home, I love this place."

Harris was seriously injured in the 2007 Superstock race when he came off at Union Mills on the last lap and sustained major fractures.
