Alastair Seeley was a winner at last year's North West 200 |
Alastair Seeley will ride Supersport and Superstock bikes for the AIM Yamaha team at the North West 200 next month. Seeley completed a deal to ride for the outfit after parting company with the locally-based JMF Millsport team. The Carrick rider won the Superstock class and finished second in both Supersport events in the JMF Millsport colours at last year's North West 200. Seeley is now on the lookout for a bike to ride in the remaining rounds of the British Superstock championship. He won the opening race of the 2009 series at Brands Hatch on Easter Monday. A former Irish champion, Seeley also rode the JMF Millsport machine to success in last year's Mondello Masters series, and started this year's Mondello championship with two wins in March. "We just weren't seeing eye to eye on some issues," Seeley told the BBC.
