Alastair Seeley made it two wins out of two in British Superstock |
Alastair Seeley secured his second win of the season in the British Superstock Championship when he came home first at Oulton Park on Monday. Seeley won the first leg at Brands Hatch on a JMF Yamaha and repeated the dose this time aboard a Relentless TAS Suzuki in treacherous conditions. The Carrickfergus rider now leads the series by 14 points after two rounds. Ian Lowry was seventh and sixth in the two Superbike races but John Laverty was knocked unconscious in race one. After crashing in the opening event, he was unable to take part in race two. Leon Camier won both races, with Karl Harris second and Sylvain Guintoli third in both events. Fermanagh rider Lee Johnston crashed while leading the Supersport class, leaving Dan Cooper to take the win. Meanwhile Paul Jordan retired after setting the fastest lap of the race in the 125cc category.
