Victory at Snowshoe was Knight's sixth of the season

Isle of Man enduro star David Knight has taken the lead in the US Grand National Cross Country series after his tenth-round victory.

Knight battled the tough, rocky course at Snowshoe in West Virginia to finish ahead of American Paul Whibley.

The 30-year-old had moved into second position by the end of the first lap and led the race by the end of lap two.

The win has put him 47 points ahead of Whibley in the overall Grand National Cross Country standings.
