Manx enduro star David Knight continued his summer break form by winning the seventh running of the hugely popular FunEnduro in Vale De Bravo, Mexico.

Knight quickly established an early lead on the first day before going on to claim a comfortable overall victory.

It was the first time the double world champion had competed in Mexico and he was amazed at the event's popularity.

"I've never raced in front of so many spectators. It was unbelievable how many people turned up to watch."

Knight, who currently leads the GNCC by 42 points and willl return to the world championships next year, added: "It is great to have won the event.

"But it was also important for me to compete in Mexico as there will be a world championship event here next year."
