Colin Turkington's last win came at Oulton Park in July

Colin Turkington claimed a second-place finish in the latest round of the British Touring Car Championship at Silverstone on Sunday.

The Portadown driver was fourth in the opening race in his BMW, with Jason Plato taking the win.

Turkington took the runners-up spot to championship leader Fabrizio Giovanardi in the second race.

The local man was fourth in the final race, won by Mat Jackson, and remains third in the championship standings.
