Colin Turkington failed to shine at Knockhill on Sunday

Colin Turkington suffered a frustrating afternoon in Sunday's latest round of the British Touring Car championship at Knockhill in Scotland.

The BMW driver from Portadown was fifth in race one before finishing seventh in race two and a disappointing 15th in the final race.

Jason Plato claimed two victories with Darren Turner also a winner.

Newtownards man Steven Kane was 12th and 14th before claiming a ninth place finish in the third race.

Turkington remains third in the championship standings but is 68 points behind leader Fabrizio Giovanardi.
