Kris Meeke is now seventh in the junior World Rally Championship standings after failing to earn any points in the Finnish leg. Meeke led the junior class after the opening day in Finland but he suffered a damaged engine on stage 14.
The Dungannon man attempted to keep going but he was forced to drop out three stages later.
Britain's Guy Wilks won the event ahead of series leader Per-Gunnar Andersson and Matti Rantanen.
Andersson leads the championship on 29 points, a point ahead of Patrick Sandell while Meeke is 13 points back in seventh.
