Kris Meeke saw his chances of winning the Junior World Rally Championship come to an end when he finished eighth in the class at the Tour of Corsica. The Dungannon driver lost 14 minutes on Saturday's first stage.
His Citroen team-mate Daniel Sordo finished second behind Marco Baldacci to take control of the title battle with just the Catalunya Rally to come.
Guy Wilks can still overhaul Sordo as he is eight points behind. Sebastien Loeb won the overall rally on Sunday.
