Finn Nico Rosberg has closed to within six points of GP2 championship leader Heikki Kovalainen with two second places at Monza this weekend. Rosberg was second to countryman Kovalainen in the first race on Saturday and then chased Swiss Neel Jani home in the second on Sunday.
Kovalainen could finish only fifth on Sunday, losing three points to Rosberg with four races remaining.
Nothern Irishman Adam Carroll finished fifth and sixth in the two races.
