Michael Curphey booked his place in the last four of the Isle of Man Golf Championship at Mount Murray on Wednesday at the expense of Davy Jones. In an epic contest the players ended their round level, Curphey eventually sealing the win on the second play-off hole in dimming light. Curphey will meet Paul Lowey in Thursday's semi-final after the Rowany player defeated Chris Kneen 5 & 4. The second semi-final will be between Daryl Callister and Andrew Challenor. Callister defeated 15-year-old Tom Harris 3 & 2 and Andrew Challenor knocked-out Gary Corlett 7 & 6.
