Paul Cutler is the only Ulster player in the Walker Cup squad

Portstewart's Paul Cutler has been included in the Great Britain & Ireland squad for September's Walker Cup clash against the USA in Pennsylvania.

The 20-year-old is joined by fellow Irishmen Shane Lowry and Niall Kearney in the 28-man panel.

The final team of ten players will be selected in August with GB&I attempting to win back the cup.

"As a squad we go into 2009 with a lot of confidence," said GB & I captain Colin Dalgleish.

Cutler, Lowry and Kearney were members of Ireland's winning team at the 2008 European Amateur Championships.
