Identical twins Lisa and Leona Maguire led the qualifiers for Europe's Junior Ryder Cup team by finishing first and second at the European Young Masters.

The 13-year-old Cavan girls take their place in the team for the event which will be played at The Club at Olde Stone, Bowling Green, Kentucky, USA.

It will be staged on 15 and 16 September, just a few days before the Ryder Cup at Valhalla Golf Club.

Lisa's three round aggregate score of five under 214 saw her win the Masters.

She finished four strokes clear of her sister and Spain's Anna Arrese at the Golf de Chantilly in France.
