Thirteen-year-old Leona Maguire produced a superb display to win the French Under-18 International title in Paris on Monday.

The Cavan girl defeated Germany's Valentine Gevers by one hole in an exciting final at St Cloud.

Leona's twin sister Lisa also reached the semi-finals of the under-21 event in France.

Lisa was edged out by one hole by England's Curtis Cup reserve Rachel Jennings in the semi-finals.

Jennings went on to defeat Spain's Ane Urchegui in the under-21 final.

The Maguire twins will be in action for Ulster in the Girls Interpros at Bangor later this week.
