Twelve-year-old Cavan golfing sensation Lisa Maguire lost to Manchester's Kelly Tidy in the semi-finals of the British Girls' Championship in Wales on Friday. Maguire lost 5&4 to Tidy, who is a member of the England's futures squad.
On Thursday, Lisa had defeated Laura Gonzalez-Escallon of Belgium 5 and 3 in their quarter-final.
Maguire competed in the Ladies European Tour event, the Northern Ireland Open, earlier this summer along with her twin sister Leona.
Lisa reached the semis at this year's Irish Ladies Amateur Championship.
Last year, she won the World Under-12 Championship in the USA last year where her sister took third place.
