Four British players have been selected in Europe's team for this September's Solheim Cup in Sweden. Wales' Becky Brewerton and English duo Trish Johnson and Laura Davies were automatic selections from the European tour rankings.
Scot Catriona Matthew qualified as one of the four top Europeans in the world rankings not already selected.
Sweden's Annika Sorenstam and Sophie Gustafson and Norway's Suzann Pettersen also won places via the world rankings.
And France's Gwladys Nocera and Germany's Bettina Hauert qualified through the European standings.
Captain Helen Alfredsson chose Maria Hjorth and Linda Wessberg of Sweden, plus Dane Iben Tinning, as her three wild card selections.
There was no place for England's Rebecca Hudson, who was instead named as the first reserve.
The United States will finalise their team next week after the Safeway Classic in Oregon.
The 2007 Solheim Cup takes place in Halmstad, Sweden, from 14-16 September.
