Woods begins the 36-hole stroke-play event on Tuesday |
Defending champion Tiger Woods aims for his 10th title of the season at the PGA Grand Slam of Golf in Hawaii this week. Woods, 30, hopes to return to winning ways after losing out to Padraig Harrington in a sudden-death play-off in Sunday's Dunlop Phoenix tournament.
The world number one has grabbed six wins in seven starts at the event, which gets under way on Tuesday.
"For some reason, I've just kind of put it together every time I've come here," the American said.
"You play enough times here, you get very familiar with the golf course."

The 36-hole strokeplay event is designed to bring together the year's four major winners. But the withdrawal of Masters champion Phil Mickelson and the fact that Woods won both the Open and the USPGA means American Jim Furyk and Canadian Mike Weir will compete in the elite four-man field along with US Open winner Geoff Ogilvy.
Woods has a near-perfect track record on the Poipu Bay Golf Course, and cruised to victory by seven shots with an eight-under-par 64 in last year's event.

"I feel comfortable on this golf course," added Woods, who finished second on his debut in 1997. "Most of the holes really suit my eye."
