Golf's great biennial battle has begun - the race to be Ryder Cup style champions. The United States (left) pitched up at Dublin airport and laid the gauntlet down with a curious country gent look, seemingly loaned from the Sherlock Holmes Appreciation Society.
Not to be outdone, Europe (right) swung in with suede jackets and grey zip-up tops.
It seems brown is well and truly the new black.
