Sung Ah Yim claimed her maiden USLPGA Tour win after Annika Sorenstam's form deserted her in the final day of the Florida's Natural Charity Championship. Sorenstam was tied with Yim with two to play but the Swede carved her tee shot out of bounds for a double bogey and dropped a shot at the last for a 75.
South Korea's Yim held her nerve for a 72 and a 16-under-par total of 272.
American Christie Kerr and Australian Karrie Webb and Sorenstam settled for a three-way tie for second.
Wales' Becky Morgan was the best of the British players on six under after a solid 69.
Scots Janice Moodie and Catriona Matthew finished on three under and two under respectively with Joanne Morley also on two under.
Part-time student Yim threw her ball wildy into the crowd after her debut win.
"I've never had that much concentration," said Yim. "I could hear my heart beating."
Meanwhile, Sorenstam said: "I just want to forget about this day as quickly as possible."
