 Darren Clarke fired a sparkling 65 in Saturday's third round |
Darren Clarke is back into a share of the lead in the Taiheiyo Masters in Japan after a superb seven-under-par 65 in Saturday's third round. The Dungannon player, who started the day five shots off the pace, carded seven birdies in a bogey-free round which leaves him on 14 under.
The defending champion is tied at the top with overnight leader Hideki Kase.
Clarke started the tournament in fine style on Thursday and shared first place after an opening round 66.
Former Open winner Justin Leonard is tied 25th on three under after a 74.
