 Darren Clarke Clarke had a birdie on the final hole | Darren Clarke finished in joint third with Denmark's Anders Hansen in the Madrid Open, five shots behind eventual winner Raphael Jacquelin of France. Clarke had an eagle and a birdie in the opening nine before dropping a shot on the 12th. A birdie at the last saw him join Hensen at 18-under. Scotland's Paul Lawrie was second on 20-under after a last round 64 lifted him up the leaderboard. Damien McGrane finished at eight-under with Gary Murphy at five-under.
