Annika Sorenstam romped to the Kraft Nabisco Championship by eight strokes to seal the first major of the year. It was the Swede's fifth consecutive LPGA victory - matching the 1978 record winning streak of Nancy Lopez.
Sorenstam recorded a final round of four-under-par 68 to finish on 15 under, with Rosie Jones in second spot.
"I had one of those great weeks where everything went my way. I got off to a great start and it was just my time," said world number one Sorenstam.
The 34-year-old, who has now won eight major titles, added: "I felt good. I felt calm. Hit some good shots. Got some good bounces.
"I've been driving down the street and it has been green lights. Good music on the radio. You name it. Everything has been perfect.

"I'll remember this Easter weekend for a long time."
Americans Laura Diaz and Cristie Kerr shared third on 283, 10 shots behind the champion, and South Koreans Mi Hyun Kim and Grace Park finished a further stroke behind.
"She played awesome," said runner-up Jones.
"She's just really hot, really on."
Having won the year's first major, Sorenstam has set her sights on winning the Grand Slam, dubbed the "Soren-Slam".
Her bid continues in June with the LPGA Championship and US Women's Open, followed by the final piece of the jigsaw - the Women's British Open.
"It is one of my goals. But first things first. This is a very important tournament," added the Swede.
"So far this year has started great. I couldn't have asked for a better start to the season. I'm smiling a lot."
Lopez, now retired, said: "I don't think anybody in the sports world gives her enough credit for what she has done and what she's accomplished.
"I think really and truly she's better than Tiger Woods.
"I think she will be in the winner's circle again and again and again until somebody steps up and takes her out of there.
"Tiger, he was awesome. He has won and played great golf, but I just don't think he dominated the way she has."
