Australia's Geoff Ogilvy fired an eight-under 64 to join American Brett Wetterich at the top of the leaderboard after day three of the Honda Classic. Overnight leader Wetterich, bidding for his first PGA Tour title, followed two rounds of 66 with a 72 in Florida.
Lee Janzen, who bogeyed the final hole, shares third place with Pat Perez, one shot behind the joint leaders.
Fred Couples is tied in sixth, four shots off the pace, and Greg Owen and Padraig Harrington are five under.
Justin Rose is a further shot behind, two ahead of Graeme McDowell and Brian Davis, while Nick Faldo's round of 75 saw him slide to two over.
Ogilvy, who won his first PGA Tour title just two weeks ago, began the day sharing 19th place but birdied three of the first four holes.
The 27-year-old birdied the sixth and took his lone bogey on the eighth, but bounced back with birdies on three of the next four holes and then finished with back-to-back birdies.

He credited his surge to the after-effects of his victory in Tucson, where he sank an 18-foot birdie putt to win a play-off.
"There's a big psychological boost to winning a golf tournament and you see it all the time," Ogilvy said.
"It makes you believe you're a better player, and that's the biggest key out here."
Wetterich, who shared eighth place here three years ago in his best Tour showing, had three birdies and a bogey in his outward run before enduring three bogeys and just one birdie on his way back.
"I struggled a lot, but I kept my head in the game and I think that's more important to me than shooting the five- or six-under round," Wetterich said.
