Bunny old game Scottish football club Clyde are getting soundly eaten at home - by a group of rabbits. The pesky creatures are munching their way through the grass and digging up the pitch at the First Division side's Broadwood Ground. And some of them are even jumping fences to get to the promised land. Stadium chief Peter Eadie said: "We took several measures to keep them out, including erecting barriers at all the possible places of entry.
"But they were hurdling to a height of three or four feet to get over everything we put in their way." The club are confident the bunnies will move on before they host the League Challenge Cup final later this month. A case of hare today, gone tomorrow, you might say. Praying for victory The coach of Croatian side Dinamo Zagreb is calling for divine intervention to help his team. Ciro Blazevic wants the club to employ a Catholic priest to pep up his players' physical and mental strength. Blazevic told the church-run Glas Koncila newspaper: "I am confident that the church will accept our plea." If they do, it will be a nightmare for their rivals.
