Arsenal annihilated Greek side PAOK in the inaugural Women's Champions League with a 9-0 second-leg victory to win the tie 18-0 on aggregate.
Kim Little netted a hat-trick to take her tally in the tie to seven as the Gunners eased into the second round.
Everton beat Norwegian champions Roa 2-0 but went out on aggregate after losing 3-0 in Norway last Wednesday.
Emily Westwood and Michelle Hinnigan scored, while Fara Williams hit the woodwork as Everton dominated the game.
Arsenal 9-0 PAOK (Arsenal win 18-0 on aggregate)
Way in front from the first leg in Thessalonika, it was easy for Arsenal as they set up a meeting in the next round with Czech Republic champions Sparta Prague.
Kim Little, who had scored four goals in the first leg, struck twice in the opening 13 minutes on her way to a hat-trick in another massive victory.
By half-time it was 5-0 as Katie Chapman and then Jennifer Beattie found the net before an own goal added to PAOK's misery.
Little hit her third goal two minutes into the second half and the rout was completed by late strikes from Gemma Davison, Lauren Bruton and Laura Coombs.
Little said: "We were obviously odds-on to go through, but we went into the game determined to put on another good show and we're happy with our performance.
"I'm sure it will be tougher against Prague, but reaching the quarter-finals is our minimum aim in this first Champions League season."
Everton 2-0 Roa (Roa win 3-2 on aggregate)
Trailing by three goals from the first leg in Oslo, Everton attacked from the start but despite being on top throughout could not force the tie into extra time.
They went ahead through Emily Westwood after just eight minutes and doubled their lead on the day when Michelle Hinnigan struck 12 minutes into the second period.
Captain Fara Williams hit the woodwork as Everton completely dominated, having 28 goal attempts compared to Roa's five.
Westwood said: "It's so disappointing - we gave it absolutely everything we'd got but just couldn't get that third goal."
