Sunderland sent a statement of intent to their title rivals in the Women's Premier League Northern Division with Sunday's 11-0 defeat of Rotherham.
Striker Sophie Williams netted five times, including a 10-minute first-half, as Sunderland went into the interval seven goals up.
Four more goals in the second half sealed the club's record win.
The Wearsiders are second in the league, nine points behind Lincoln OOH, but they have five games in hand.
