Laxey's Sarah Houghton on the attack against Castletown in Division Two.

Rushen put their Flood-Lit Cup disappointment behind them on Sunday, beating Gymnasium 3-0 to move top of Division One.

The southerners led 2-0 at half-time through Kirsty Qualtrough and Eleanor Gawne, Donna Harrison adding a third late on.

The result sees Rushen climb above Douglas Royal after the cup winners were beaten 3-1 by Corinthians.

That win moves Corinthians into third with Royal slipping to second.

Sarah Kerford (2) and Anna Dillon netted for Tracey Cowley's side with Vicky Worthington scoring for the whites.

Meanwhile in Division Two, Laxey boosted their title ambitions with a 3-2 win over Castletown and Colby beat Ramsey 2-0 despite the southerners only fielding nine players.
