England winger Sue Smith bagged a brace as Leeds Carnegie beat Doncaster Belles 3-0 in their Women's Premier League local derby.
The victory took Leeds up two places to seventh, ahead of Blackburn Rovers and Watford on goal difference.
Blackburn won 2-1 at Liverpool with Chantelle Parry grabbing the winner.
Watford are set to entertain second in the table Chelsea on Thursday, when leaders Arsenal will travel to pointless Nottingham Forest.
Arsenal 6-1 Doncaster Rovers Belles
Smith put Leeds on the road to victory with the opening goal after just three minutes.
Stef Houghton doubles the visitors' lead two minutes before the break and Smith wrapped up Carnegie's second win of the season 15 minutes from time.
Liverpool 1-2 Blackburn Rovers
Former Liverpool striker Chantelle Parry hit the winner to keep her old club penned in the relegation zone.
Natalie Preston put Blackburn ahead in the 35th minute and Parry, in her first outing against the Reds since her summer move, doubled the lead 11 minutes after the break.
Cheryl Foster pulled a goal back seven minutes from time but the home side could not force an equaliser.
Fulham 2-2 Bristol Academy
Lowly Fulham came from behind to earn their second point of the season thanks to Gemma Fraser's late equaliser.
Katie McIntyre had given the Cottagers an early lead but goals by Kerry Bartlett and Gwennan Harries - her sixth in five games - put the visitors on top.
Fraser levelled the scores with a 25-yard strike for her fourth goal of the campaign.
