Women's Premier League leaders Arsenal thumped Doncaster Belles 6-1 to take their goal tally to 33 in five matches.
Victory lifted the Gunners two points clear of Chelsea, who beat Bristol Academy 3-0 to leapfrog Everton into second place.
Everton's meeting with Nottingham Forest was rained off, as was Blackburn's visit to Birmingham City.
The basement pair of Liverpool and Fulham drew 2-2, pushing pointless Forest to the bottom of the table.
Arsenal 6-1 Doncaster Rovers Belle
England striker Kelly Smith continued her goal streak with a brace that took her total to 14 in five appearances.
Smith's international colleague Karen Carney also weighed in with two goals, the winger's strikes following Kim Little's early opener for the Gunners.
Smith's first goal made it 4-0 at the break, then midfielder Jayne Ludlow hit the fifth before Liz Hansen grabbed Donny's consolation goal.
Smith completed the scoring 13 minutes from time.
Chelsea 3-0 Bristol Academy
Chelsea's new strike partnership of Lianne Sanderson and Eni Aluko was again lethal as the unbeaten Blues ran up their fourth win in five games.
Sanderson struck her sixth goal of the campaign from a 44th-minute penalty.
And Aluko took her tally to nine with two strikes in the final 14 minutes.
Watford 1-0 Leeds Carnegie
A ninth-minute goal by striker Helen Lander proved enough to give Watford their second win of the season.
But the Hornets had goalkeeper Marie Hourihan to thank for a string of fine saves as Leeds pressed for an equaliser.
Liverpool 2-2 Fulham
Fulham came from two goals behind to snatch a point with a last-minute equaliser.
Goals by Cheryl Foster and Jo Traynor seemed to have set Liverpool up for their first win of the season.
But Gemma Fraser reduced the arrears just after the hour.
And with time running out Fraser was on target again to force the draw.
