Everton Ladies start their League Cup campaign at home to Nottingham Forest at Marine on Sunday.
The Blues beat Arsenal in the final in February and assistant manager Andy Spence says he wants continued success.
"The League Cup from last season holds great memories for us," Spence told BBC Radio Merseyside.
"Obviously our aims for this season will be to repeat what we did last season. We'll prepare properly and hopefully we'll get the right result."

Liverpool are still on the lookout for their first win of the season and face fellow National Division strugglers Nottingham Forest.
Robbie Johnson's team let a 2-0 lead slip last week in drawing 2-2 with Fulham, but he says he wants his side to progress to the next round.
"The target, in effect, on Sunday is to get a win," said Johnson.
"That has always been the target so far this season. To get a win in the game we're playing, as that's the only one we can affect."

Tranmere have a tough test as they line-up with Doncaster Rovers Belles in the first round.
Doncaster are currently having money troubles and are actively seeking a sponsor, while Tranmere will hope to get over last week's defeat by Leicester.
"Doncaster are a very good team and they've always been in the top league in women's football," said Tranmere boss Shirley Waring.
"For our girls to play against some of the best players in the country, it's good for them. It will be a real test for us."
