York City striker Richard Brodie has been called up to play for the England C squad against Poland on 17 November.
The 22-year-old is part of a 16-man squad which will leave for the game in Poland straight after City's game at home to Ebbsfleet on 14 November.
The call up is the second for Brodie who was also selected to play against Bosnia two seasons ago.
Brodie will be released from the England squad if York City's FA Cup tie with Crewe Alexandra goes to a replay.
York City manager Martin Foyle told BBC Radio York: "It's fantastic for the player I think it's good for the club.
"I think people probably recognise how much he's improved in recent months. I'm delighted for the lad and he thoroughly deserves it."
