Foyle has brought in three players in the January transfer window
York City manager Martin Foyle still wants to strengthen his side after their 3-1 defeat at Barrow in the Setanta Shield fourth round.
Foyle said he has learnt a lot about his club's players and he told BBC Radio York there would be changes for the league game at Eastbourne.
"I'm not going to hang around and wait. I'm here to do a job and I want to do it to the best of my ability.
"If I get one or two loan players with a bit of money then I've got to do it."
Foyle is likely to bring the players that were cup-tied for the Barrow game straight back into the squad.
He added: "We'll get a reaction. With Christian Smith in, Simon Brown in and Richard Brodie back in and maybe one, maybe two in, I've got to do it."
However, Foyle ruled out a return from injury for David McGurk and Ben Purkiss at Eastbourne.
"McGurk won't play Saturday but he'll be available for Tuesday, the same with Purkiss.
"They just need that little bit longer so rather than take them on the long trip down to Eastbourne I'm just going to hold them back for the Altrincham game just to make sure they're 100% right because I can't afford for them to break down again.
"If Kyle Critchall goes back, I'm struggling in that right-back position.
"There's loads of things going through my mind at the moment."
