Yeovil Town have announced striker Keiran Murtagh will not return for pre-season training on 1 July.
The 21-year-old was not offered new terms at the end of the season but was hoping to stay on and change the mind of manager Terry Skiverton.
Murtagh joined the Glovers in the summer of 2008 from non-league side Fisher Athletic.
The forward made 59 appearances in his time at Huish Park but scored just three goals.
