Former Liverpool trainee Peltier signed for Yeovil Town in January 2008
Yeovil Town assistant manager Nathan Jones has admitted the club may have to sell midfielder Lee Peltier before the start of the new season.
The 22-year-old has previously stated his desire to play at a higher level, and Jones has said the club will let him leave for the right price.
Jones told BBC Somerset: "We won't stand in his way if the right offer comes in for Yeovil Town and for Lee."
The club are yet to receive an offer for the former Liverpool player.
Jones added: "At the minute, Lee is still a Yeovil Town player. We will continue to work with him until the right offer comes in.
"He's a fantastic player and he will play at a higher level at some stage. Hopefully for everyone, it will be sooner rather than later.
"Selfishly, we would like to keep Lee and we would like to develop him ourselves a little bit more, but we realise in the climate we're in, we may need to move Lee on."
Peltier, a former Liverpool trainee, has made 49 appearances for the Glovers since signing in January 2008.
