Yeovil midfielder Gary Roberts looks set to be out for around six weeks after suffering an ankle injury in Monday's 2-0 defeat to Leicester City.
Roberts immediately underwent an x-ray after being forced from the field and left Huish Park on crutches.
Manager Russell Slade told BBC Somerset: "It's not broken but he's damaged the ligaments so I suspect he'll be out for four-to-six weeks.
"Injuries and suspensions don't help, but we have to take it on the chin."
The result leaves the Glovers just two points above the relegation zone in League One, but despite the defeat Slade said he was still pleased with his side's performance.
"We've put in a terrific shift and despite and injury to a key player have still given Leicester a game," said Slade.
"They had the fortune because the corner that resulted in their first goal should have been our goal-kick.
"If the referee is in any doubt at all he should award give the goal-kick," he added.
