Worthington began his career as a trainee at Huddersfield
Huddersfield Town midfielder Jon Worthington is joining League One rivals Yeovil on a month's loan.
The 25-year-old former Terriers skipper has fallen down the pecking order since the arrival of new manager Lee Clark.
He has made just two substitutes appearances since Clark's arrival, his last coming in the defeat at Carlisle at the end of December.
Worthington, who has made more than 200 appearances for Huddersfield, is out of contract at the end of the season.
Clark told BBC Radio Leeds: "He's a terrific professional, he's done everything I asked and I could see day by day he was becoming frustrated by his lack of opportunities.
"It's only right that we should do things right by the lad. He wanted to go and play games."
