Lengthy recovery frustrates Warne

Yeovil Town forward Paul Warne says he is disappointed to be on the sidelines with a broken foot while his team-mates are fighting a relegation battle.

"I'm still in plaster until 8 May so I've just got to work on my upper body and try and get myself out of the house," he told BBC Somerset.

"I come and watch with my family, try and encourage the lads as best as I can, and try and help them out."

"It does mean a lot and I do watch the game intently," added the 34-year-old.

"I go to all the home games. I haven't been to any of the away games yet but I'll probably go to the Swansea away game and the Forest away game and just be with the lads.

"I'll turn up with butterflies in my stomach as if I was playing."
