Yeovil frontman Andy Kirk has predicted a bright future for his new strike partnership with veteran Marcus Stewart. The duo were paired together for the first time on Saturday and Kirk scored the winner to help Town beat Cheltenham 2-1, ending a three-match goal drought.
Kirk told BBC Somerset: "Conditions weren't the best. But it's encouraging, we had good movement.
"We can build on that and we can play a lot better together, I'm sure."

The Northern Irish striker found Russell Slade's tactics for the Cheltenham game to his liking, as his 73rd-minute strike ended a personal run of six games without a goal.
"Last week we played one up front and that was the decision the manager made, and we got the point," he said. "Sometimes in football you've got to play different systems and you've just got to fit in.
"I think I'm probably more suited to the 4-4-2 but that's the manager's decision and you've just got to go along with it and give everything you have."
Kirk also played a major part in Yeovil taking the lead early in the first half through an Alan Wright own goal but he is not going to try and claim credit for it.
"It's just a funny goal," he said. "I've picked the ball up and turned, and had a couple of breaks, and then had it kicked off my leg. The defender's tried to clear it and he's hit it against his own man."
