Yeovil eased their relegation fears as they beat fellow strugglers Cheltenham. They went ahead after eight minutes when Robins midfielder Andy Lindegaard blasted a clearance against colleague Alan Wright and the ball rebounded in.
Cheltenham pushed for the equaliser and it came after 64 minutes when Ashley Vincent crossed for Steve Brooker to slot in at the far post.
But the Glovers got the winner on 73 minutes when a throw-in found Andy Kirk and he fired in from close range.
Yeovil Town striker Andy Kirk:
"It's a massive win, especially with Millwall winning last night. We're unbeaten for two games, which we've got to take the positives out of.
"We've got another home game coming up on Tuesday and we've got to take confidence from that."
Cheltenham Town manager Keith Downing:
"We were second best in the physical and mental department and there wasn't enough competitiveness in our play - which is not like us.
"That is creeping in and we have to nip it in the bud quickly because we have only eight weeks left to save ourselves and we have to fight for our lives."
