Defender Oliver rejoins Wycombe

Wycombe Wanderers

Wycombe Wanderers have re-signed central defender Luke Oliver on a free transfer until June 2010.

The 6ft 8ins 24-year-old has joined the Chairboys from Stevenage Borough, where he had made 65 appearances since 2006.

Oliver came through the youth set-up at Adams Park and played with Wycombe until his contract ended in 2004.

He will be reunited with boss Peter Taylor, who told the club's website: "He is a big, commanding centre-half who can help us."

Taylor took charge of Oliver during his spell in charge of Stevenage last season.

The centre-back has also had spells with Woking, Yeovil and Salisbury.
