Wrexham have released midfielder Levi Mackin who has spent the last four months on loan with York City.

The 23-year-old came through the trainee ranks at the Racecouse and made 61 league appearances since making his debut against Wycombe in April 2004.

Mackin played his final game for the Dragons as a late substitute away to Kidderminster Harriers last November.

He then joined York in January and helped Martin Foyle's side to Blue Square Premier safety.
